bespoke textiles for the home

The picture opposite shows detail from a mixed linen warp including copper inspired by evening sun light on the sea.

Using the same warp I produced six samples using simple weft variations with both plain weave and 3-2-1-2 twill.

I am inspired by the landscape around me and the traditional textiles from all around the world that evoke a sense of time and place.

Working predominantly with British wool and  natural yarns, I hope to produce work that is low impact on the environment and has hereditary familiarity.
